Supporting people in pursuit of their hunting heritage, Amanda Lynn founded the Take Me Hunting Outreach Program, designed to help new hunters get out there and get started in their adventures. Participation in activities outdoors provides children with the opportunity to expand their horizons and learn valuable life lessons that will serve them well beyond their childhood. We want them to be able to have fun and enjoy the outdoors with their peers, but at the same time lay a solid foundation of skills and knowledge which they may build on for the rest of their lives. The ultimate goal for this program is to provide an opportunity for kids to get outdoors, learn about their heritage and carry it forward.
We want to help youth to succeed. We believe the morals and values they will develop from participating in the outdoors will carry forth throughout all other aspects of their life, while keeping our hunting heritage alive.
Our goal is simple: To empower, EDUCATE and inspire women of all ages find their place in the hunting community.
Since we opened our doors in 2014, O.W.H.A has been helping women fulfill their potential when it comes to hunting. We do this through personalized instruction, working hand-in-hand on the field and answering questions with experience and thought.
Giving women a place and community to meet others and join likewise events to further educate themselves on firearms, archery, and hunting. Can you imagine being able to get out in the field and experience hunting as a beginner on a whole new level. Resources, experienced hunters, and much more will be available to you, in your area, as a diverse group of women come together to make a strong team to empower, educate and inspire others. We would like to extend the invitation to ALL female hunters to join Ontario Women's Hunting Association. Our goal for O.W.H.A is to be a safe, fun place for women to connect and share their ideas, thoughts, and tips about everything to do with HUNTING! Our facebook page is a great place to chat, share photos and adventures, network, and to learn new skills with fellow women of the Ontario hunting community.
